CIMA embarked on what the Frisco RoughRiders team owner described as his second most audacious one-month project ever as a team owner of any of his clubs. With less than 40 days before opening day, CIMA won the contract to do four major projects simultaneously: 1. Convert the former Riders Store into a bar, 2. Convert a covered patio into an enclosed restaurant, 3. Convert a restaurant into the new Riders Store, and 4. Remodel the press boxes and A/V control rooms. Our most pressing project was to gut and rebuild the press boxes and control rooms within 8 days of starting so that the A/V electronics vendor could start their work. Faced with the challenge of an ice storm, snow, and rain, we kept pushing and finished before opening day. On opening day, the team owner introduced CIMA to one of his friends, and said, “If I had to rate CIMA on a scale of 1 to 10, they are an 11.” We appreciate the compliment, and the chance to help the RoughRiders get ready for the season.
