Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA) supports and promotes court-appointed volunteer advocacy so every abused or neglected child in the United States can be safe, have a permanent home and the opportunity to thrive. Unfortunately, they have seen the need for their services grow at an alarming rate (nearly tripling in a few years), but unable to afford a new facility to meet their needs because they rely on donations to fund their operations.

An opportunity for CASA came up to move to larger office space, but the building was old, neglected, and inadequate for their needs. CASA and their designers came up with a plan, but couldn’t get it within budget. So they asked CIMA to squeeze the numbers a little harder to meet their very limited budget.

CIMA spent 64 days turning a 64 year old abandoned, empty and dilapidated space into a modern, bright and highly functional space that will serve children, staff, and the community for years to come.

During the open house, the Mayor and many other dignitaries applauded how well everything was done.  The entire CIMA team was proud to work with CASA and their donors within the community to provide new offices to further the CASA mission of helping children in our area.
